This is yoga for roller derby, and it’s for you.
You’ll get 24 different yoga practices during this 6-week program that will directly help your skating, whether you’re getting ready for your assessments, need some specific recovery work, or just want to finesse your on-the-track skills.
Each week includes sections on strength, balance, stretching/recovery, breath, and the mental game. As you learn new yoga movements, you’ll strengthen and mobilize the same muscles used for skating skills such as:
- skating posture and stride
- endurance
- plow stops
- one-foot glides
- focus
- assists
